1. Introduction

Welcome to Love Tags (“App”), a mobile application operated by SCA Enterprises, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and safeguard your information when you use the Love Tags App on iOS or Android devices.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

SCA Enterprises, LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal and sensitive information in order to provide the Love Tags service:

2.1 Account Information

  • Name: Your first and/or last name, used to personalize your account and outgoing messages.
  • Email Address: Used to create and manage your account, send service-related notices, and allow account recovery.

2.2 Recipient Contact Information (Sensitive Data)

When you use Love Tags to send SMS messages, you provide the phone number(s) of the person(s) you wish to message. This data is treated as personal and sensitive information.

  • Recipient Phone Numbers: Phone numbers you enter within the App for the purpose of sending SMS messages. These numbers are used solely to deliver messages on your behalf and are not used for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purpose.

Google Play Data Safety: Recipient phone numbers constitute personal and sensitive user data under Google Play’s User Data Policy. We handle this data in accordance with Google Play’s requirements and our obligations as described in this policy.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect the following:

  • Payment or financial information
  • Precise or approximate device location
  • Photos, videos, or other media from your device
  • Device contacts (we do not access your phone’s contact list)
  • The content of SMS messages sent or received by others
  • Data from third-party social networks or advertising platforms

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively to operate and improve the Love Tags App. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Send SMS messages on your behalf to the recipient phone numbers you provide
  • Respond to your support requests or inquiries
  • Send transactional communications about your account (e.g., password resets, service updates)
  • Improve the functionality, security, and user experience of the App

We will not use your personal information for any purpose not listed above without first obtaining your consent or as required by law.

4. SMS Sending and Phone Number Use

Love Tags facilitates sending SMS messages to phone numbers you designate. Please be aware of the following:

  • Recipient phone numbers are used solely to deliver the specific messages you request within the App.
  • We do not send unsolicited messages to any phone number.
  • We do not share recipient phone numbers with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
  • Message delivery may depend on your mobile carrier. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

If you use your device’s native SMS functionality through the App, Love Tags may request the appropriate device permissions. We request only the minimum permissions necessary. You can manage app permissions at any time through your device Settings.

5. How We Share Your Information

SCA Enterprises, LLC does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

The only circumstances in which we may disclose your information are:

  • Legal Compliance: If required to do so by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SCA Enterprises, LLC, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via the App or email before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Google Play Store Data Safety Disclosure

For users who download Love Tags from the Google Play Store, we provide a Data Safety summary in the Play Store listing. That summary reflects the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. The following data types are disclosed in our Data Safety form:

  • Name: collected, not shared with third parties
  • Email address: collected, not shared with third parties
  • Phone numbers (recipient): collected, used solely for message delivery, not shared with third parties

Data collected by Love Tags is not used for tracking purposes and is not shared with third-party advertising services. Our Data Safety declaration in the Play Store is kept consistent with this Privacy Policy and updated whenever our data practices change.

7. Account Deletion

If you have created an account in Love Tags, you have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data. You may initiate account deletion in either of the following ways:

  • In-App: Open the menu, tap Account, then tap Delete Account within the Love Tags App.
  • By Request: Contact us at the email address in Section 13 and request account deletion. Please include the email address associated with your account.

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Data retained for legal purposes will be isolated and not used for any other purpose.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s services. When you delete your account or request data deletion, we remove your data within 30 days except as described in Section 7 above.

9. Data Security

SCA Enterprises, LLC takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords for your account.

10. Children’s Privacy

Love Tags is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 13, and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

11. Your Privacy Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for which it was collected, and categories of third parties with whom it was shared.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions (see Section 7).
  • Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by California law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
